Timeline
1986 – Founder Paul Gladieux recognizes the eventual impact of the ISO 9000 QMS Standards on all business sectors worldwide. Materials for client use are developed.
1990 – Paul Gladieux develops quality management training materials for the Project Management Institute, PMP Certification Program (Portland Chapter).
1991 – GQM is founded with the objective of helping companies develop sound quality management systems in order to better compete in the global marketplace.
1992 – GQM begins 14 year run providing quality management consulting services to a wide variety of industries including automotive, printing, imaging, semi-conductor, engineered equipment, custom alloy fabricators, energy, and oil pipeline.
1994 – GQM participates in the assessment of the Hanford Nuclear Waste Tank Farm operations in Richland, Washington. The project involves more than 7,000 requirements.
1995 – The Project Management Institute requests and publishes an article by Paul Gladieux in PMNet magazine.
2002 – Paul Gladieux is the guest speaker at Washington State University regarding ASME / NQA-1 nuclear supplier qualification requirements.
2003 – GQM participates as exhibitors at national conferences in the U.S. Western Region.
2005 – GQM is hired to provide quality management services to a key supplier of equipment for U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Energy projects.
2007 ~ ‘09 – GQM shifted Support Services to the Re-emerging U.S. Commercial Nuclear Power Industry. Focuses Heavily on Assisting the “New” Supply Chain.
